Completing Toasty’s Episode Detail Form

Now that you’ve uploaded your episode, it’s crucial to provide Toasty with some episode specifics. This will not only ensure accurate transcription but also allow for a better presentation of your content.

Step 1: Naming Your Show #

Here, enter the name of your podcast show or YouTube channel. This name will help Toasty to organize your content properly and for viewers or listeners to associate the episode with your brand.

Once you’ve uploaded a podcast for a given show, we’ll remember this for the future and you’ll be able to select it from the dropdown.

Step 2: Indicate Episode Language #

Specify the language used in your episode. This information aids Toasty’s transcription service in providing a more accurate output.

Step 3: Listing the Speakers #

Enter the names of individuals speaking in the episode. Ensure names are added in the order of their appearance. This aids in creating a transcript that differentiates speakers, making it clear and easier to follow.

If there are more than two speakers, use the “Add Another Speaker” option. Remember, accurate speaker details provide a smoother reading experience for your audience.

Step 4: Set the Transcription’s Start Point #

Field: Start Transcribing At (Optional)

While Toasty defaults to starting the transcription from the beginning, you might want to exclude certain parts, like lengthy introductions or ads. Indicate where the transcription should commence by inputting the time in seconds. If your content starts after a 15-second intro, enter “15”.

Step 5: Define the Transcription’s End Point #

Field: End Transcribing At (Optional)

Similar to the start point, you might want to omit outros or advertisements at the end of your content. If you want the transcription to stop before the actual end of the file, specify the time in seconds here.

After inputting all your details, you can proceed to the review page to make sure all the details look correct and Toasty will take it from here!
